Hi thanks for your highly informative blog. I am currently in process of understanding construction processes and having quite a lot of clarifications. One such clarification is if a bore along with Cauvery water is available, would like to seek your opinion on best way to plumb them considering bore as primary water source while Cauvery water as backup source via sump and overhead tank. Also your thoughts on merits in using single big size overhead plastic tank v/s having two smaller size plastic tank matching the overall capacity of single big size tank.
I am planning to demolish and build a new G+3 house. Bore and Cauvery water is already available. Looking forward for your response. Thanks.
Bore is normally hard..cauvery is better to use for all purposes. Depending on freq of cauvery take a call. Bore is useful during construction but less useful later unless less supply of cauvery. Unused borewell motor is a concern. Some people use bore water to wash around house and water plants. So its a tough call.
Hi Naveen,
Thanks for the detailed explanation. Do you know any good Architects/Engineers for building plan and also someone who could get the plan approval from BDA/BBMP. This is for a house construction in Banashankari 6th Stage.
